The shift to Google Apps for outgoing email has been successful. At this point, all stores should have received yesterday's email. Additionally, tonight's emails seem to be sending without issue. We will continue to review our long-term email deliverability strategy, but this incident is now resolved.
We have routed outgoing emails through a different service and have begun processing the backlog of emails. Our hope is that this change will ensure tonight's Day Close emails will be delivered on-time and without issue. We are continuing to monitor the situation.
Our email service provider (Sendgrid) is showing the majority of our outbound emails as being "deferred." The reason is listed as "error dialing remote address." We have filed a support ticket with Sendgrid to determine if this is something on their end or if there is something that we can change on our end.
Our email delivery is currently deferred for many domains. This has prevented Day Close Emails and Password Reset emails from being delivered for the past 12-ish hours.
This incident has been resolved.
This morning's patch has resolved the issue.
We released an update last night that we believe resolved this issue. We are continuing to monitor the situation to ensure there are no continued issues.
We have received numerous reports of issues when texting today. We are currently investigating.
We had 4 minute interruption of service today from 2:48pm - 2:52pm CDT. This was an unplanned outage and was due to an error on our part that out automated testing system did not detect. We apologize for the inconvenience.
